Job DescriptionJob Title: Project IntegratorJob Description The Project Integrator manages and delivers complex projects and activities related to Experimental Flight Test, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role leads cross-functional teams, coordinates multi-site efforts, and collaborates closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to maintain compliance with project requirements. The position requires strong project management expertise within the aerospace industry, a solid engineering background, and the ability to drive planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Manage and deliver complex Experimental Flight Test projects and related activities on time, within scope, and within budget., • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in defining and establishing project scope, schedules, and budgets., • Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget commitments., • Establish and manage priorities between multiple projects and activities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives., • Identify project risks, report them clearly to stakeholders, and lead the planning and execution of effective risk mitigation strategies., • Participate in and coordinate internal safety and security processes to assess, contain, and correct potential product deficiencies with cross-functional stakeholders., • Prepare and provide clear visibility of budget requirements and resource allocation needs for assigned projects., • Develop, prepare, and present project status and visibility reports for various levels of the organization., • Coordinate and manage multi-site project activities, including remote participation and collaboration as necessary., • Collaborate with engineering, testing, planning, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project integration and execution., • Apply project control practices to monitor progress, manage changes, and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.Essential Skills, • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field., • 5–8 years of experience in project management within the aerospace industry., • Advanced knowledge of project management processes and principles., • 5 years of planning and project management background, including planning and scheduling responsibilities., • Experience in development and certification Flight Test activities., • background in manufacturing within an aviation or aerospace environment., • Strong experience in project control, including monitoring, reporting, and managing project performance., • Professional attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong foresight, accuracy, and attention to detail., • Demonstrated commitment to meeting objectives and fulfilling responsibilities., • Natural leadership capabilities with a proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities., • Self-motivated, autonomous, enthusiastic, and results oriented., • Ability to work willingly and independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment., • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions that move projects forward to meet or exceed targets., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in Flight Test aviation is a strong plus., • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, testing, planning, and supply chain teams., • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with suppliers and customer representatives., • Ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations and visibility reports for different organizational levels.Work Environment This is an onsite role based in a primary engineering and operations facility (building 1), where you collaborate closely with engineers, testing teams, planning, and supply chain functions to support complex aerospace projects. The environment is fast paced and technically focused, with a strong emphasis on Experimental Flight Test, manufacturing, and cross-functional coordination. You will work with standard office and engineering tools, including Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Project, and participate in both in-person and remote meetings to coordinate multi-site activities. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
