Job Description InvestCloud is seeking a highly motivated Application Support Engineer to support customers using the APL Portfolio Accounting and Trading Platform, with a focus on trade generation, compliance, and inbound/outbound data interfaces. This role will provide application support, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain the stability and scalability of critical systems supporting business operations. The ideal candidate brings strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of investment portfolio performance in the managed account space, and advanced proficiency with Oracle SQL queries. Key Responsibilities • Provide application support for software within the scope of the role., • Monitor the ticket queue and field incoming calls., • Work directly with clients to analyze issues and assist with resolution., • Monitor and respond to time-sensitive alerts related to intraday order processing., • Troubleshoot issues by analyzing application code and data, then deliver resolutions or workarounds., • Partner closely with peers and customer-facing operations teams to triage and resolve client-reported issues., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth operations and strong client satisfaction., • Develop a deep understanding of InvestCloud products and contribute to support documentation., • Minimum 2 years of application support and/or financial industry experience., • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills., • Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of system products, functions, and processes., • Professional, personable, and highly effective communication skills., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively., • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, both internally and externally., • Ability to conduct in-depth independent research using a variety of methods and applications., • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed., • Excellent communication and collaboration skills., • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules., • Financial, investment, or wealth management experience., • Solid understanding of investment portfolio performance in the managed account space., • Advanced knowledge of investment securities industry theories, principles, and practices., • 3+ years of systems analysis experience., • Experience with trading systems such as FIX, Oasys, SunGard, or Swift., • Experience with portfolio accounting systems such as APL, Advent, Portia, or Vestmark.
