Any broken or damaged instruments must be brought to central/sterile for decontamination and delivered to the instrument manager for repair. 26.Assists circulating nurse in cleaning room assuring that all trash and line is disposed of properly in the appropriate container. No trash or linen is to remain on the floor or Operating Room table. 27.Disassembles suction canisters for proper disposal by environmental. 28.Verifies the correct labeling and number of surgical specimens with the circulating nurse. 29.Remains in room after operative procedure is completed, assists in transfer of patient to stretcher or bed using proper body mechanics. 30.If surgical procedure is completed and patient is on hold for a space in PACU the scrub technician may leave the operating room suite to assemble the next case set up and equipment, provided the anesthesiologist and circulating nurse remain with the patient. 31.Transports instrumentation and specimens to soiled utility room. All must be contained/covered during transport. Instruments shall be placed inside transport cart. Instruments that will be utilized for a subsequent procedure must be delivered directly to central sterile for immediate decontamination. 32.Specimens must be recorded in log for pathology or bacteriology. If indicated, Formalin should be placed in jar as per policy with specimen. Said jar shall be labeled with patient’s name and source of specimen, biohazard/formalin label applied, and placed in biohazard bag after assuring lids are secure so that leakage does not occur. Specimen slip shall be in place. 33.Understands and demonstrates the importance of efficiency and time management. 34.Identifies and demonstrates cost containment on each procedure. We are seeking a seasoned Regional Manager that will be primarily located in New York for our nationwide student housing portfolio at FOUND Study (). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dynamic sectors such as student housing, multi-family housing, hospitality, or senior living. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with a proven ability to develop innovative solutions. The Regional Manger will collaborate closely with Hawkins Way Capital () and FCL Management (fclmgmt.com) leadership teams to strategize and develop long-term plans aimed at enhancing productivity and achieving success across our Midtown properties. Key responsibilities include collaborating with senior management at the Midtown properties to establish performance goals and long-term operational strategies, analyzing current processes to recommend improvements, and setting benchmarks and KPIs to maximize efficiency in departments such as engineering and housekeeping. The Regional Manager will also work with corporate and asset management teams to develop and adhere to financial plans, implement established policies and procedures, and ensure seamless transitions for new acquisitions or management contracts. In addition, the role requires managing vendor relationships for work performed in high-rise buildings, overseeing student housing operations with attention to safety and service standards, and navigating New York City’s building permit process to ensure regulatory compliance and timely execution of projects. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, is required. A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. Overview Partner with the PM/Superintendent to drive project delivery from pre-con through closeout. You’ll coordinate subs, documents, and procurement, keep schedules and budgets on track, and ensure details are executed to a museum-grade standard.
