Key Responsibilities\n\n • Conduct in-depth assessments to gain a thorough understanding of each client’s mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and tailor individualized treatment plans.\n, • Provide therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices that are customized to the specific needs and goals of the clients.\n, • Offer immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring that they receive timely and effective assistance.\n, • Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records that include ongoing assessments, progress notes, and client interactions in strict adherence to ethical and legal standards.\n, • Engage in collaborative care by working with interdisciplinary teams to develop strategies that support clients' mental wellness holistically.\n, • Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, therapy options, and available community resources, empowering them to advocate for their wellbeing.\n, • Commit to ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, webinars, and training to remain current with the latest best practices in mental health therapy.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n This role focuses on a diverse client population, ranging from children to adults, each facing unique mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. You will develop tailored therapeutic approaches that respect individual backgrounds and experiences, fostering a space for healing and growth. Qualifications\n\n • Must be a licensed mental health therapist in the state of New York, with valid credentials such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.\n, • A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is preferred.\n, • Proven ability to conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans effectively.\n, • A minimum of two years of related experience in mental health counseling is required.\n, • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, along with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.\n, • The capacity to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.\n, • A strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining high professional standards.\nPreferred Experience\n\n, • Prior experience in a clinical setting is highly valued, although motivated entry-level candidates with relevant internships or practicum experience may also be considered.\n, • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.\n, • Previous work with specific populations (e.g., adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, etc.) may enhance effectiveness in the role.\nCompensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a rewarding sign-on bonus.
