ICBD is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our high-performance team. As part of a lean, agile finance team supporting a world-class portfolio—including ABA Centers, GateHouse Treatment, Marquis MD, and others—you’ll play a key role in managing complex financial operations, improving systems, and shaping the next phase of sustainable growth for a portfolio recognized by Inc., EY, and the Financial Times as one of America’s most dynamic private enterprises. The Staff Accountant’s main duties include processing all A/P expenses for payment, printing checks for vendors, vendor management, negotiation, and researching past-due client invoices to ensure payment processing. This position is responsible for payroll management and assisting the Chief Financial Officer with cash management. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for upskilling our team of Staff Accountants, while working independently on projects from conception to completion and must be able to work with tight deadlines at times to handle various activities and confidential matters with discretion. Key Responsibilities • Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences, • Enter invoices and generate checks and payments, • Maintain data in information systems or databases, • Analyze business or financial data, • Process all deposits, • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions, • Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices, • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (public/private mix a plus), • Strong knowledge of GAAP (3+ years preferred), • Demonstrated experience with month-end close and financial reporting, • Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings Expertise Needed • Intercompany accounting and reconciliations, • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Concur (or similar ERP/expense platforms), • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling, • Experience with cash management and reconciliations, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines, • Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills, • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams, • Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills, • High-level data-entry accuracy and efficiency, • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly Attributes for Success • Strong communication and executive presence, • Operates with urgency and discipline, • Strategic thinker, • Natural collaborator with business partners across departments Outstanding Benefits • 21 paid days off (15 days of PTO, which increases with tenure, plus 6 holidays), • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options, • Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance, • Generous 401(k) with up to 6% employer match At ICBD, we believe leadership, innovation, and purpose go hand in hand.
