American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 01/12/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 9 hours, days, • Work in an adult and geriatric cardiac catheterization lab, • Average of 5 cases per day, • Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations including ASD closures, implant closure devices, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, percutaneous coronary interventions, and temporary pacemaker procedures, • Day shift schedule: 4x9 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, • On-call required: 10 shifts per month including 1 Friday, 6 weekday evenings, and 3 weekend 24-hour shifts, • No floating required, • Scrubs provided in ceil blue, • May perform EP lab procedures such as AICD insertion and programming, pacemaker insertion, and cardiac ablation if qualified, • Must follow isolation precautions and be able to activate the rapid response team, • Compliance with mandatory flu vaccination is required, • Return staff must have a minimum one-year break in employment to be eligible for travel positions, • Up to 7 days of requested RTO allowed for a 13-week contract, subject to approval, and no RTO permitted during the first two weeks, • Local candidates accepted at a different rate based on a 60-mile radius from the facility, • Pre-employment training modules required before and potentially during orientation, • Manager interview may not be required\n \n Requirements\n, • Current BLS and ACLS certifications, • ARRT or RCIS certification required, • Must be Maryland Board of Physicians certified, • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, • Experience in ASD closures, closure devices, stent placement, IABP placement/removal, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, and temporary pacemaker required, • EP lab, interventional radiology, and special procedures experience preferred, • Skills in accurate monitoring, EKG lead placement, prep and access site care, arrhythmia recognition, room circulation, scrubbing, sterile field maintenance, and vascular closure systems required, • One prior travel assignment required, • Licensure required if applicable\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
