Job DescriptionNorthKey Community Care is seeking a Lead Manager of Crisis Engagement to provide direction and consultation to other managers and/or program team leaders, as coordinated by the Chief of Services and Development. Work Hours: Generally, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Participate in on-call shifts as assigned. This position will be on-site at 502 Farrell Drive, Covington, KY 41011. leadership skills with the ability to multitask., • This position requires some local travel and reliable personal transportation.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES, • Provide direction and consultation to other managers and/or program team leaders as coordinated by the Chief of Services and Development., • Provide training, oversight, guidance, and direction to managers and/or program team leaders in the service line., • Monitor compliance of managers and/or program team leaders in the service line., • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards related to service line and programs, including but not limited to crisis, mobile crisis, 988, crisis stabilization, Assisted Outpatient Treatment, Mental Health Court, transportation, outreach, and community-based services., • Maintain compliance with standards of care defined by the Kentucky Department of Medicaid, Department of Aging and Independent Living, Office of the Inspector General, Department of Behavioral Health, and other state entities related to organizational designation as a Community Mental Health Center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic by the Commonwealth of Kentucky., • Maintain compliance with standards of care defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services related to service line and service delivery., • Maintain compliance with standards of care of the Joint Commission in order to ensure accreditation related to the service line and service delivery., • Achieve, promote, and maintain a strong working relationship with other managers and/or program team leaders and related clinical staff., • Provide current and up-to-date information to the Chief of Services and Development, other managers, and/or program team leaders and staff within the chain of command., • Manage Crisis Intervention Training with external and internal sources and attend required meetings., • Perform comprehensive, timely reviews of supervisees to ensure competence within subordinates., • Coordinate expanded services and support the clinical team to provide expanded services under federal grant funding programs., • Make appropriate recommendations based upon data concerning promotions, demotions, assignments, and other personnel management decisions in the service line., • Make appropriate recommendations related to additional staff training for individuals and groups based upon the needs of staff and clientele, staff development, and budgetary constraints., • Achieve and maintain active involvement with various community groups that further the positive image of NorthKey Community Care and the services provided by the organization, including developing relationships with hospitals, jails, law enforcement, and other community organizations., • Lead and/or participate in both internal and external workgroups and committees, including leading NorthKey’s Zero Suicide Committee, 988 Coalition, CREST, and associated initiatives., • Address formal and informal staff and clientele grievances professionally in accordance with policy., • Maintain priorities that focus upon assuring organizational viability, quality service delivery, and positive employee morale, recognizing the challenge of balancing these competing interests., • Achieve and maintain the flexibility to rapidly shift between complex details and global decision-making related to service programs., • Ensure the collection, analysis, interpretation, and distribution of data related to the quality, integrity, and viability of service area programs., • Ensure program and staff compliance in the documentation of quality care., • Maintain appropriate confidentiality in all matters about operations or personnel., • Maintain operational responsibilities for and the direction of all service delivery staff in the identified service line, including ensuring 24/7 coverage for all crisis services, and ensuring that all crisis appointments are completed within required timeframes, including 202As., • Implement policy decisions efficiently and effectively., • Provide input regarding NorthKey policies and procedures., • Prepare reports as requested for service area responsibilities., • Provide input to program development and program evaluation., • Participate in 3rd shift and weekend on-call coverage., • Other duties as assigned.IN RELATION TO ADMINISTRATION, •
