As a Fleet Diesel Mechanic, you will play a key role in keeping their fleet of tractors, trailers, refrigeration units and yard equipment running safely and efficiently. Your work ensures timely deliveries of fresh products across the region. Fleet Diesel Mechanic Duties: • Perform preventative maintenance and complete diagnostics and repairs on tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, lift gates and yard goats, • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension and steering, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, • Utilize vehicle computer diagnostic systems to interpret failure codes and complete repairs, • Complete required repair documentation, maintain service records and ensure compliance with safety standards, • Guide and train apprentices and junior mechanics Schedule:, • Day Shift, • Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Pay: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour Fleet Diesel Mechanic Requirements:, • At least 5 years of fleet diesel mechanic experience, • Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions and electrical systems, • Experience working on refrigeration trailers and box trucks, • Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools to complete mechanical repairs, • Ability to maintain accurate service and repair recordsBenefits offered by employer:, • Medical, Dental and Vision, • Life, Critical Illness, Accident, Long and Short-Term Disability Insurance, • 401K Program, • 100 percent Pre-Paid College Tuition, • Employee Stock Options, • Opportunity for Growth Location: Seattle, WA, • On-site position with facility parking available Interested in this Fleet Diesel Mechanic opportunity?
