Job Description Project Manager We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage commercial plumbing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires full ownership of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate has a strong construction background, formal education or training, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. Responsibilities • Manage plumbing construction projects from bid award through final completion, • Lead pre-construction planning, project kickoff meetings, and turnover from estimating, • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts, • Plan, coordinate, and oversee labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, • Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure scope accuracy and compliance, • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and validate scopes of work, • Prepare, track, and manage project budgets, cost reports, and profit margins, • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation, • Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, inspectors, suppliers, and internal teams, • Ensure compliance with local codes, project specifications, safety requirements, and company standards, • Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and profitability, • Provide regular project updates, reporting, and communication to leadership, • Support and mentor field supervision to improve productivity and work quality, • Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, as-builts, and final documentation Qualifications • 3–5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction, • Plumbing construction experience required (commercial, industrial, or utility preferred), • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, construction sequencing, and jobsite operations, • Solid understanding of local codes, permitting processes, and inspection requirements, • Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously, • Experience with cost tracking, forecasting, and maintaining profit margins, • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently, • Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office, • Valid driver’s license, • Ability to work after hours, weekends, and holidays when project demands require Benefits • 401(k) with a 4% match, • Health insurance, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Life insurance, • PTO How to Apply If you’re interested in joining our team, please call, text, or email: Cole Established, Growing Company Scott McLeod Plumbing is a well-established company with a strong reputation and consistent workload.
