Job Description Job Title: Assembler – Medical Device Manufacturing (Temecula) Job Description This role is responsible for producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a team-based manufacturing cell. You will perform detailed assembly and operate various equipment and machinery by following documented procedures in a controlled cleanroom environment. The work includes electronic and mechanical assembly, casting and coating functions, packaging, and cleaning of tools and equipment, all while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Responsibilities • Assemble cardiovascular medical devices and related components according to documented procedures and work instructions., • Perform detailed electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, casting and coating functions, and packaging activities within a manufacturing cell., • Set up, operate, and monitor various production equipment and machinery in accordance with standardized procedures., • Work in a controlled cleanroom environment, adhering to all cleanroom protocols and gowning requirements., • Use microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering tools, and adhesive bonding techniques to complete precision assembly tasks., • Perform routine assignments that follow specified and standardized processes, with work closely and continually reviewed for accuracy and quality., • Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements., • Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment and record results as required., • Repair and correct devices and components using microscopes and applicable tools when defects or issues are identified., • Package finished devices, ensuring all parts are accurate, correctly labeled, and documentation is complete., • Maintain accurate and complete records so travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents are correct, traceable, and audit-ready., • Ensure all parts and materials are traceable and that quality issues can be quickly identified and addressed., • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas according to documented cleaning procedures., • Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety devices and equipment when performing operations., • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and support continuous improvement efforts. Essential Skills • High school diploma or GED., • Basic English communication skills to read, understand, and follow written procedures and work instructions., • At least 6 months of manufacturing experience., • Ability to perform detailed, repetitive assembly work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail., • Comfort using microscopes and small hand tools for precision assembly and inspection., • Ability to follow standardized procedures and documented processes consistently., • Capability to maintain accurate production and quality documentation., • Commitment to following safety guidelines and cleanroom protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated production environments., • Experience in cleanroom operations or environments requiring strict contamination control., • Familiarity with machine operation in a production setting., • Experience with electronic assembly, soldering, or adhesive bonding processes., • Previous work in roles requiring visual inspection and precision measurement., • Experience in food service or other fast-paced, process-driven environments that emphasize cleanliness and quality can be beneficial. Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing cleanroom environment focused on medical device production. You will work within a team-based manufacturing cell using microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering equipment, adhesive bonding tools, and computerized test equipment. The facility maintains a professional, businesslike atmosphere and regularly hosts visitors, so a neat and appropriate appearance is important. The dress code does not permit clothing with suggestive or derogatory language, pictures, or slogans; overly revealing clothing such as midriff tops or very short shorts; dirty or stained clothing; pajama pants; or bedroom shoes and house slippers. Jeans must be professionally appropriate, with no rips, holes, or stains. Cleanroom and global gowning procedures apply, which include requirements such as no makeup, no false eyelashes or eyelash extensions, and no jewelry while in the controlled environment. The work involves following established safety procedures and using appropriate safety devices and equipment at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Temecula, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $22.83/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
