Clinician (Level 1 or Level 2) Department: Clinical Services Reports to: The clinical team reports up to the Director of Clinical Services FLSA Status: Exempt Salary Range: $50,000-$64,000 POSITION SUMMARY The Healing Place (THP) is a nationally recognized nonprofit recovery program committed to providing hope, healing, and long-term support for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health needs. We are seeking compassionate, mission-focused Clinicians to join our dynamic and supportive team. This single job posting covers both Clinician Level 1 and Clinician Level 2 positions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Direct Clinical Services • Provide individual counseling, group therapy, and clinical interventions using evidence-based models such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, Behavioral Modification, and crisis intervention techniques., • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, interviews, treatment planning, and ongoing progress evaluations for adult clients., • Facilitate IOP groups and structured therapeutic groups as assigned., • Engage families or support systems, when appropriate, to reinforce client recovery goals., • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss client progress, barriers, and clinical recommendations., • Work closely with peer-driven program staff to ensure integrated, wraparound care., • Complete all clinical documentation within 24 hours of client interactions, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with regulatory and billing requirements., • Participate in required supervision and ongoing professional development., • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, • Clinical decision-making and sound judgment, • Ability to maintain professionalism and healthy boundaries, • Exceptional organization and time management, • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, residential recovery environments, • Respect for diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, and stages of recovery, • High attention to detail Clinician Level 1 (Entry-Level) • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field, • CADC required (Kentucky), • Must be under board-approved clinical supervision, • Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders preferred but not required, • Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field, • Active Kentucky licensure: CSW, LPCA, or LCADCA, • Must be under board-approved supervision toward independent licensure, • Prior experience providing clinical services in behavioral health or recovery settings preferred, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, • Experience using Electronic Health Records (preferred), • Valid driver’s license The work environment at The Healing Place reflects the pace and purpose of a residential recovery setting.
