Jefferson Center's Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) has a mission to use an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, residential counselors, medical staff and admissions specialists to provide brief, 3-5 day, crisis stabilization treatment for children and youth ages 5 to 18.5 with behavioral health issues, including depression, suicidal thoughts, other trauma reactions, and family issues. Job Description The Residential Counselor (Milieu Counselor) provides milieu management, guidance, safety, stability, and direction to a client population that is actively intoxicated and/or experiencing withdrawal symptoms. This is a pool (on call) position with no set schedule.
