Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join a pediatric-focused team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care, NICU, and emergency/trauma services. This role requires flexibility to float across multiple campuses and provide comprehensive care for neonatal through adolescent patients. Key Responsibilities • Deliver routine and complex respiratory care procedures in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards., • Manage ventilators, airway support devices, and other specialized respiratory equipment., • Provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care to patients across neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent populations., • Respond to emergency and trauma situations, ensuring timely interventions., • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes., • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program., • Current, active Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license (permanent or temporary in-hand at time of submission)., • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC., • AHA BLS and PALS certifications., • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a licensed Respiratory Therapist., • Minimum 2 years’ pediatric critical care experience (Critical Care and Emergency/Trauma strongly preferred).
