American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Bone Marrow Transplant for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplant, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 04/20/2026, • Duration: 16 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 20, 2026, • Length: 16 weeks, • Mixed acuity PCU and Med/Surg BMT unit (14 & 15W), • Patient population includes a wide range of hematologic malignancies and disorders, including ALL, AML, CLL, CML, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Aplastic Anemia, Amyloidosis, and Myeloproliferative Disorders, • Unit performs Autologous, Syngeneic, and Allogeneic stem cell transplants, as well as CAR-T Therapy, • Required skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line blood draw, PICC line management, peripheral line care, feeding tube care, and nasal cannula administration, • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30, • Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on staffing priorities and may include days, nights, or a combination of bothRequirements, • Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand, • Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred, • ONS Chemotherapy Certification and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential preferred — chemo certification is NOT required, • Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg and oncology nursing experience required, • Hematology oncology (Heme Onc) experience strongly preferred, • Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias required, • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration, • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for considerationAdditional Information, • Care for patients undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplantation, including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy, • All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
