Works with providers to assist in the patient treatment and documentation of the patient encounters Makes sure all pertinent information is available to provider, i.e., list of medications, lab results, allergies, imaging reports and health history Rooms patients, obtains vitals and prepares patients for the medical exam Retrieves previous office notes and exam results Reviews messages and paperwork with provider and responds as directed in a prompt and courteous manner Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies Cleaning and sterilizing supplies, rooms and equipment before the start of the day and in between patients Documents orders, referrals and lab tests Must be accurate and detail oriented with programs Documents follow-up activity for health maintenance and quality of care measures Takes messages and tasks from patients Other duties as assigned Qualifications:Knowledge and skill with computers and electronic medical records systems Strong interpersonal, communication, prioritization and organization skills Previous experience in a medical office preferred but not mandatory Hours:M-F 8am-5 pm

Job DescriptionDescription: Position Overview: Utah Valley Pediatrics is seeking a Medical Technology Assistant to support the adoption and optimization of technological tools across our offices. This role will focus on assisting with implementation of a new online scheduling system, assisting and training providers and staff on different online tools, providing expertise on company EHR eClinicalWorks (eCW) and other essential programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical workflows and technology, serving as a key resource for ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position is not an IT position, but rather would be focused on how to use different medical applications/programs across all offices. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Technology Expertise: • Assist with the setup and optimization of online scheduling systems., • Train office staff on effectively using online scheduling tools and other tools used in daily operations., • Guide doctors in implementing and using AI scribing tools in their workflows., • Create and deliver training programs on EHR (eCW) online scheduling, and other tools used in daily operations., • Partner with Director of Operations and Office Managers to identify areas for improvement in technology use., • Strong knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) or similar electronic medical record systems., • Experience in a medical environment, with a clear understanding of clinical workflows., • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to work with staff at varying levels of technical expertise., • Familiarity with online scheduling platforms and AI scribing tools., • Experience working in pediatric or outpatient healthcare settings., • Background in training and development in a healthcare environment.
