Will help plan weekly meals, prepare, and chop ingredients. Keeps food preparation areas sanitized and orderly. Performs cleaning duties, including sweeping, and mopping of floors, cleaning of equipment and work areas, dishwashing, and pot washing. Brews coffee, fills beverage machines, sets up hot and/or cold food areas. Stores silverware, dishes, glasses, cups, pots, etc. Collects and strips trays for dishwashing and participates in ware washing if assigned. Delivers, when necessary, food to staff, patients, and catering events. Complies with all state, Federal, local health department requirements for safe food handling Complies with all client location security protocols and guidelines. Checks and stores incoming supplies. Follows assigned break schedules; work weekends, evenings and holidays are required. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed. Time management skills. Attention to detail and sanitation rules. Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Serve Safe Certification Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be able to access and navigate all areas. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. May be required work in excessive heat and cold in association with the kitchen environment.
