They are responsible for the phones and making reservations according to the policies we have in place. They greet each of our guests warmly as they enter the restaurant inquiring about reservation status. They are responsible for helping to accommodate as many guests as possible for the best flow of the restaurant. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and committed to providing an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities • Welcome guests with a smile and answer the phone with a friendly tone. Relay all messages to managers., • Take reservations that are available and fit our seating protocols., • Seat guests at their tables, taking into consideration server availability and guest needs, • Provide guests with menus., • Keep up with the statuses of tables dining, allowing for maximized seating., • Making sure all menus are in good condition, replacing ones that need to be., • Thank guests for dining with us upon leavingQualifications, • Previous experience as a host/hostess, server, or busser is preferred, • Friendly and outgoing personality, • Excellent communication skills, • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays, • Familiarity with food safety guidelines, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
