Job Description Dallas Country Club is seeking a highly qualified Pilates Reformer Group Exercise Instructor to join our Group Exercise team. Founded in 1896, DCC is one of the most exclusive and prestigious private clubs in the area, and we pride ourselves on hiring the very best professionals in the industry. We are looking for an instructor who is knowledgeable, dependable, and enthusiastic, with a strong passion for movement quality, member experience, and safe instruction. Candidates must be currently certified to teach Pilates Reformer. Key Responsibilities: • Lead safe, engaging, and technically sound Pilates Reformer group classes for members of varying fitness levels and abilities, • Provide hands-on corrections and clear verbal cueing while maintaining a high level of safety and flow, • Always demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, preparedness, personal appearance, and communication, • Deliver a luxury-level member experience aligned with private club standards, • Prepare studio and reformers prior to class and properly secure, clean, and reset equipment following class, • Report equipment or facility concerns promptly, • Support overall group exercise programming and assist with sub coverage when needed The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge: • Comprehensive Pilates Reformer Certification (mandatory) from a recognized training program, • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred, • Minimum of 2 years teaching Pilates Reformer in a group setting, • Current CPR/AED certification, • Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and movement progressions/regressions, • Additional certifications (Mat Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Strength, or other group fitness formats), • Experience teaching in a private club or boutique studio environment preferred The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and qualities: • Ability to lead safe, engaging classes for members of varying levels, • Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence, • High energy, confidence, and polished teaching style, • Ability to stand for extended periods, • Ability to lift, position, and adjust Pilates equipment safely, • Capable of demonstrating exercises and assisting members with proper setup and alignment Consistent availability for afternoon and evening classes, Monday–Friday Able to substitute other morning classes (6:00–10:30 AM) as needed.
