Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Quantum Space Node Prototype Engineer / Innovation Fellow (Intern or Entry-Level Engineer — Future Founder Track) Location: Atlanta, GA (HQ) Division: Quantum Infrastructure & Micro-Node Systems Reports To: CEO / Quantum Node Program Manager Compensation: Competitive salary or stipend + bonus + future profit-sharing opportunity Status: Full-Time or High-Intensity Internship (10–14 weeks, option to convert) ROLE PURPOSE This is not a normal internship or engineering job. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to help invent the first intelligent micro-infrastructure system in the country, transforming everyday parking spaces into alive, dynamic, AI-powered urban nodes. You will be the hands-on builder, problem-solver, prototyper, and designer behind the Quantum Space Node Lite™ (QSN-L) — a futuristic, low-cost, scalable system that blends: • hardware, • software, • sensors, • AI, • AR, • electronics, • and visionary designYour work will directly shape the commercial product that will be deployed across the entire GGES portfolio and licensed nationwide. You will literally help create a new industry. We care more about your capability, curiosity, and drive than we do about a perfect resume. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Prototype Development • Build the first functional QSN-L prototype., • Assemble and integrate:, • camera module, • edge compute board, • LED AR strip, • pressure micro-strips, • air quality sensors, • microphone array, • QR/NFC engagement panel, • enclosure & wiring, • Optimize cost down to $2,500 total per node.2. Hardware & Software Integration, • Program microcontrollers (ESP32, Pi Zero)., • Train or integrate AI detection models., • Calibrate sensors and pressure strips., • Link edge hardware to cloud dashboard.3. AI & Analytics, • Implement basic:, • vehicle detection, • occupancy detection, • dwell-time tracking, • LED pattern activation, • QR/NFC engagement automation, • Rapid Iteration, • Build → test → refine → repeat., • Produce prototype demonstrations for leadership., • Document everything for future installation teams.5. Field Deployment, • Install early units in:, • GGES property parking lots, • partner plazas, • Run real-world testing., • Solve installation challenges creatively.6. Innovation & Future Concepting, • Work with leadership to expand:, • AR features, • ad interaction layers, • AI-driven safety features, • data visualization, • Bring imaginative ideas to the table daily.7. Cross-Team Communication, • Present findings in weekly meetings., • Collaborate with Program Manager, Operations, Sales & Data teams., • Provide input for marketing, pitch decks, and commercialization materials. REQUIRED SKILLS (We expect you to have most, not all — passion matters more.) Technical (1–3 years hobby or academic experience acceptable) • Microcontrollers (ESP32, Arduino, Pi), • Python + basic AI inference experience, • Electronics and soldering, • 3D printing or fabrication, • LED/lighting control, • Basic networking (LTE, Wi-Fi, MQTT), • IoT systems, • CAD or simple mechanical designCreative / Conceptual, • Ability to sketch or visualize new concepts, • Ability to simplify complex challenges, • Strong problem-solving instinctsMindset, • Hungry, • Curious, • Fearless, • Obsessed with innovation, • Thrives with autonomy PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED), • Experience with TensorFlow Lite, • Experience with Google Coral TPU, • AR/VR knowledge, • Low-voltage electrical experience, • Environmental sensor integration, • Experience making something “that shouldn’t work, but does” WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (90 DAYS) By Day 30: • QSN-L prototype fully assembled., • Basic edge detection functioning., • LED panel + AR Ghost Panel working.By Day 60:, • Field tests completed at 1–3 parking spaces., • Cloud analytics reporting live., • Cost optimized under $2,500 per unit.By Day 90:, • Commercial-ready prototype presented to Executive Leadership., • Deployment SOP finalized., • Ready-to-scale design achieved.
