JOB SUMMARY The Entry Level Accountant supports the organization by performing routine accounting duties while also providing administrative and project-related support to the Executive Office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who is beginning their accounting career but is also capable of handling administrative tasks, coordinating projects, and maintaining accurate records across multiple functions. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Accounting & Financial Support • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions., • Review, code, and enter invoices accurately into the accounting system., • Assist with preparation and submission of expense reports., • Maintain financial logs, spreadsheets, and tracking documents., • Support monthly reconciliations and financial close processes., • Track budgets and expenditures for assigned projects., • Organize financial documentation and prepare files for audits and compliance reviews., • Provide administrative support to the Executive, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation., • Draft and edit letters, memos, reports, and presentations., • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for accounting and administrative records., • Help manage the Executive’s calendar, meetings, and follow-up tasks., • Support cross-departmental projects by tracking deadlines, collecting information, and preparing status updates., • Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes., • Coordinate activities and workflows between accounting, operations, and other internal teams., • Participate in process improvement efforts, including creating checklists, workflows, and tracking tools., • Entry-level accounting experience (internship, coursework, or prior accounting support role)., • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation., • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications., • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines., • Excellent communication skills with a customer-service mindset., • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision., • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
