Job Description Touch Of Love Home Health Care Inc in Indianapolis, IN is looking for one home care branch manager to join our team. We are located on 6919 E. 10th Street Suite B. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for direction of all home care services. Provides interdisciplinary liaison to meet home care clients service needs. Establishes, implements, and evaluates goals for providing home care services that support the mission and philosophy of Touch of Love. QUALIFICATIONS • Graduate of an accredited Associates program in Business Administration or Management., • Minimum of two (5) years management experience in Home Care or related health care organization., • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct clinical and administrative personnel., • Knowledge of business management, Medicaid and Joint Commission regulations, CHAP, as applicable., • CPR certified., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to market and relate tactfully with customers and other members of the community. 1. Plans, directs, coordinates, and monitors the delivery of all direct and indirect services to Touch of Love home care clients., 2. Reviews organizational policy and procedures, updates and assures compliance. Communicates changes to all staff., 3. Review intake and referrals process and assures compliance with timely admissions., 4. Participates in the organization's strategic planning activities., 5. Coordinates daily office meetings., 6. Assists in the planning and development of clinical and administrative policies and procedures, and the annual operating and capital budgets., 7. Establishes and implements systems to inform clients and their families of the scope and nature of home care services and community resources., 8. Maintains liaison relationship with attending physicians., 9. Identifies admission criteria for new clients and evaluates eligibility for home care benefits through third-party payers. Provides clients and families with information about covered services as well as those services requiring private pay., 10. Conducts monthly review of records to ensure continuing home care client’s eligibility for covered services., 11. Evaluate in conjunction with HR the orientation program for new personnel., 12. Provides direction and resources to coordinators and supervisors to assist in continuous improvement of services provided by Touch of Love staff., 13. Assists supervisors in managing clinical teams and planning., 14. Evaluates the performance of clinical supervisors and assists them in developing skills and techniques to evaluate performance of staff that report to them., 15. Plans and implements in-service and continuing education programs to meet specific and ongoing training needs of Touch of Love personnel., 16. Assures clinical records are maintained in compliance with state and federal laws including Medicaid, CHAP and Joint Commission standards and conditions., 17. Oversees data collection for quality management, statistics and reports for evaluating Touch of Love performance., 18. Participates in hiring, evaluating, and terminating Touch of Love personnel., 19. Maintains adequate and appropriate inventory supplies and equipment for providing services to Touch of Love clients., 20. Establishes and implements priorities for services within the limitations of available resources., 21. Identifies systems to recognize client needs, respond to client needs, and to measure the outcomes of Touch of Love interventions. Utilizes this data to provide direction for Touch of Love improvements., 22. Serves on the Safety Committee., 23. Seeks consultant expertise as needed to ensure Touch of Love strength., 24. Establishes Quality Improvement teams to address priorities for improvement activities., 25. Identifies data collection requirements and reports to evaluate the effectiveness of programs to ensure quality of client care., 26. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
