Job Description Men’s Locker Room Manager Department: Golf Job Title: Men’s Locker Room Manager Reports To: Clubhouse Manager Supervises: Locker Room Attendants Schedule: Full-time (including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required) Compensation: $28/hour; tips occasionally included, but not guaranteed. Position Summary We take pride in delivering exceptional Member experiences throughout every area of the Club, supported by the professionalism and hospitality of our dedicated team. The Men’s Locker Room Manager is a key leader in the success of Burning Tree Country Club’s Member Services. In this operational role, this individual coordinates with the Director of Golf and Clubhouse manager and works directly in the locker room and lounge each day, providing personalized Member service. While this role oversees locker room attendants, it is first and foremost a position that actively performs locker room services alongside the team. Throughout the season, they provide exceptional experience for Members and their guests at every touchpoint and uphold the highest standards of service, hospitality, cleanliness, and presentation. As the liaison between Members, staff, and Club leadership, the Men’s Locker Room Manager ensures consistent communication, operational efficiency, and service excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong visibility within the locker room and lounge areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about hospitality, and dedicated to creating memorable Member experiences that reflect Burning Tree Country Club's values. Who You Are • You have previous experience in a private club, resort, or hospitality, preferably in a management or supervisory position., • You possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities., • You understand the importance of maintaining discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality in a Member-owned environment., • You are reliable, professional, and committed to excellence in every aspect of your work. The Essentials • Provide a welcoming, professional presence in the locker room, ensuring Members and guests receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service., • Oversee and provide core locker room services, including shoe care, locker assignments, laundry, and amenities., • Deliver excellent Member service in the lounge, providing and overseeing food and beverage service there., • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the men’s locker room, lounge, restrooms, and shower areas., • Ensure supplies (toiletries, towels, shoe care materials, etc.) are consistently stocked and available., • Coordinate locker assignments, signage, and related administrative tasks., • Recruit, hire, train, and schedule locker room staff., • Lead by example, fostering a culture of hospitality, discretion, and respect. The Expectations • Anticipate Member needs and resolve issues promptly and discreetly., • Uphold Club rules, standards of etiquette, and service traditions., • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback, ensuring staff deliver service excellence and professionalism., • Monitor and report facility maintenance needs, coordinate repairs with Clubhouse management., • Oversee ordering and inventory control of amenities, supplies, and equipment., • Manage locker room budgets for labor, supplies, and inventory., • Prepare reports on operations, usage, and Member feedback as requested. The Standards • Previous experience in private club, resort, or hospitality management preferred., • Bartending skills are a bonus., • Strong leadership and staff management skills., • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities., • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive., • Ability to maintain discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality., • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
