Job Description SUMMARY Install, support, and maintain technology equipment for the earth moving industry. Ensure support agreements are maintained and executed in a professional manner through regular scheduled maintenance and repair. Develop an open line of communications with key operational and management personnel that ensures a successful relationship with our customers... Help promote SITECH / Trimble as a leader in the field and ensuring maximum market share by promoting the team concept through professionalism and technical expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES • Performs basic trouble shooting skills for digital and analog electronic components, electrical wiring and related mechanical systems., • Lead installations of technology systems and products., • Works safely at all times and makes safety the highest priority and complies with all company and customer policies, procedures and standards., • Perform preventative maintenance on technology equipment and ensures it is maintained per customer contract., • Develop a relationship that leads our customers to ask us for assistance in solving their technology needs through our expertise and willingness to exceed their expectations., • Maintains open communications with manager and team members., • Available to travel and work occasional weekends., • Must have basic computer knowledge, including the understanding of e-mail, Microsoft Office, hardware specification analysis, Internet based programs, • Must have basic hand and electrical tools or willing to purchase as needed., • Needs a basic understanding of electrical circuit theory and be able to read electrical schematics., • Must be able to use a multi-meter and test for voltage, current, and continuity., • Must have basic mechanical skills and knowledge., • Must be able to work as a team player., • Have the ability to work with limited supervision on a daily basis., • Dependable and consistent attendance., • Must have a good driving record and be insurable under company policy., • The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, sit or crawl, • Experience with Hydraulics and Heavy Construction Machinery Preferred, • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)., • Able to achieve MSHA certification., • Must complete site specific training and pit driving, as it pertains to contracted site.
