Job DescriptionLocation: Onsite - Beaverton, OR Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full Time Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour DOE Duration: 3-month contract to start, with potential for permanent hire About the Role LHH Recruitment is partnering with a Beaverton-based organization to hire an HR Assistant to support day-to-day human resources operations, with a strong focus on onboarding new hires and providing general HR administrative support. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in Human Resources and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. Key Responsibilities • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer and onboarding paperwork, coordinating start dates, and ensuring a smooth first-day experience, • Assist with employee file management, documentation, and data entry in HR systems, • Serve as a point of contact for basic HR questions, escalating more complex issues as needed, • Help coordinate background checks, I-9 documentation, and other pre-employment requirements, • Support HR team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, tracking, and reporting, • Assist with internal communications, policy acknowledgements, and HR-related updates, • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all HR documentation and processes Qualifications, • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, OR some prior exposure to HR through internships, coursework, or administrative experience, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn HR systems quickly, • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within HR Why This Opportunity?, • Great entry point into Human Resources, • Hands-on onboarding and HR operations experience, • Onsite mentorship and exposure to core HR functions, • Contract-to-hire potential for the right fitPay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour Search managed by: Ashley Armstrong Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
