Why This Role Matters As a Production Supervisor, you'll be a critical leader on the manufacturing floor, providing daily direction and leadership to production teams building complex printed circuit board assemblies, electromechanical systems, and cable assemblies for customers. Your role ensures quality, efficiency, and safety while fostering a team environment were collaboration and continuous improvement drive success. What You'll Do Leadership & Team Management • Supervise, coordinate, facilitate, and provide daily leadership to employees directly or through group leaders, • Train, advise, and counsel employees on work processes, procedures, and company policies, • Participate in recruiting, selection, and development of operations personnel, • Provide input for hiring, terminations, transfers, salary adjustments, and promotions, • Outline work procedures and assign duties to meet departmental and company requirements, • Regulate workflow to ensure maximum use of capacity and efficiency within the department, • Track and monitor departmental performance objectives against goals, • Promote individual responsibility for quality work and adherence to workmanship standards, • Research and troubleshoot problems, implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement, • Participate in periodic audits to ensure compliance with company standards, • Set standards that promote good relations and communication with internal and external customers, • Interact with and support all internal and external customers effectively, • Communicate clearly across all levels of the organization, • Negotiate and manage conflict tactfully and professionally, • High School Diploma or GED (required); associate degree or higher in a related field preferred, • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience (required), • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (required), • Strong leadership and people management skills including team building, mentoring, and coaching, • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results, • Ability to communicate effectively in all forms (written, verbal, interpersonal), • Ability to negotiate and manage conflict tactfully and professionally, • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to address issues involving multiple variables, • Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently throughout the shift, • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, • Previous customer production management experience including planning, budgeting, and allocation of resources, • Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-reliability production environments, • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or other quality management systems, • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies, • Experience electronic assembly operations, • Background in regulated industries Shift Details: 2nd shift (3:30p to 2:00a); Monday through Thursday (additional hours may be needed for supervisor hand-off or to meet customer production) Work Environment: 100% on site Employment Status: Permanent, Full-Time Comprehensive Compensation & Benefits Competitive Compensation: • Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, • Multiple medical plan options with wide coverage and low copays, • Comprehensive dental and vision plans, • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match; online financial advisor program available, • Company-paid life insurance and AD&D (Accidental Death & Dismemberment), • Short-term and long-term disability coverage, • Flexible spending accounts (FSA), • Paid-time-off program, • Company-paid holidays, • Training and professional development opportunities, • Education reimbursement program (tuition assistance for associate degrees and beyond), • Clear pathways for career advancement and internal promotion, • Onsite employee café, • Online employee company store, • Quarterly company events and celebrations, • Collaborative, team-oriented culture with open-door policy
