Job Description The Guest Services Manager is responsible for leading a team of staff, interns, and volunteers to create a safe, healing environment for our Program Ministries in a Christian residential program. Oversee the Guest Services Team and functions, including customer service, front desk reception and security, facility staffing and scheduling, and administrative functions. Scheduled: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM Starting pay: $29.62 How you will serve · Supervise the Guest Services team to ensure professionalism, competence and Christ-like customer service is extended to all guests/volunteers and staff who enter the building. · Work closely with the Director to establish and implement goals for assigned areas. · Provide organizational, spiritual, and administrative leadership to all direct reports, and volunteers, including hiring, on-boarding, and training of new staff, time sheet approval, development, scheduling, coaching and performance management and other support related to personnel issues. · Work proactively with leadership team, Mission staff and ministry partners to continually develop and improve quality services provided to homeless individuals and families, staying on top of any potential problematic operational issues. · Oversee reception and customer service functions including handling visitors, checking-in volunteers, answering phones, ensuring the highest level of customer service. · Oversee the intake process including inquiry calls, phone screens, intakes, and bed list. · Maintain weekly staff and intern schedule including vacation schedules, shift coverage and special events, ensuring adequate staffing of facility 24 hours a day, seven days a week. · Oversee proper handling of guest communication, including mail and phone messages, protecting the confidentiality of guests. · Oversee the updating and organizing of guest and staff information (photos, directory info, etc.) and facility incident documentation. · Promote spiritual health and unity by presenting a Christ-like demeanor in interactions with guests, staff, callers, visitors, and donors. · Attend and participate in all Mission, Division and Department meetings and training, as required. · Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor. Hybrid Work Environment: Tuesday - Thursday In-Office \u007C Monday & Friday WFH Responsibilities • Lead the design and management of civil engineering projects within the transportation, municipal, and government sectors., • Develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates., • Work alongside Civil, Water Resources, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals to deliver multi-discipline projects., • Provide technical guidance and oversight on projects involving utility infrastructure, complex utility coordination for building projects, streets/roadways, sidewalks and stormwater management., • Ensure designs are efficient, sustainable, and meet community needs., • Mentor and develop less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and professional experiences., • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment., • Oversee all technical, quality, financial, and safety aspects of projects from conception through construction., • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders., • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively., • Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices., • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes., • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry advancements.Required Qualifications, • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, • Professional registration in the State of Washington, • Minimum of 8 years of technical design experience with municipal and/or transportation projects including roadway design, vehicular and/or pedestrian access, site grading, pollution control, and stormwater management., • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multi-disciplined projects; strong working knowledge of the project development process including coordination with other disciplines during design and construction., • Previous business development experience demonstrated by a track record of securing new project opportunities, • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills; Ability to write descriptive and technically accurate proposals, specifications, and reports; Ability to participate in, facilitate, or lead project team meetings, • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook), • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications, • Experience collaborating with a multi-disciplined team of highway design, traffic, bridge (structural), and water resources engineering professionals, • Desire or demonstrated ability to leverage your technical knowledge to coach, mentor, and develop less experienced engineering professionals, • Working knowledge of Washington DOT design and plan standards Upon acceptance of a conditional offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, which consists of Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
