The Role We are seeking a responsible, organized, and proactive Legal Secretary/Assistant or Paralegal to support our litigation team. This role is perfect for a multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a solid foundation in Plaintiff Personal Injury. Key Responsibilities • Litigation Support: Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents with high attention to detail., • Case Management: Manage e-filing and handle Dictaphone transcription for legal documents., • Calendar Management: Assist in maintaining the attorney’s court calendar, ensuring all deadlines, hearings, and depositions are accounted for., • Organization: Maintain physical and electronic files; prioritize a steady workflow of tasks independently., • Experience: At least three (3) years of legal experience., • Specialization: Preference for candidates with a background in Plaintiff Personal Injury. Knowledge of PIP (Personal Injury Protection) is a significant plus., • Tech Savvy: Proficient in e-filing, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe., • Experience with Dictaphone transcription is required., • Pay: Commensurate with experience., • Vacation & Holidays: Paid time off and paid holidays., • Long-term Security: Medical insurance and 401K eligibility after one (1) year of employment., • Environment: A professional yet relaxed "Jersey Shore" office vibe—no stiff suits required every day!
