Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Review and approve diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance with Carex Behavioral Health and Joint Commission standards., • Provide clinical oversight, consultation, and support to licensed and unlicensed clinicians., • Assist in clinical quality improvement initiatives, workflow monitoring, and ensuring documentation timeliness., • Support onboarding, training, and supervision processes for clinical staff as designated by the Clinical Director., • Participate in developing clinical policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve service delivery and client outcomes., • Stay current with behavioral health regulations, evidence-based practices, and ethical standards., • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director. Qualifications • Masters degree in social work or counseling from an accredited institution., • Independently licensed in the State of Ohio as a LISW, LPCC, LISW-S or LPCC-S, • Ability to become credentialed through Carex for providing behavioral health services., • Minimum 2 years post-masters experience providing mental health services to children and adults., • Demonstrated experience reviewing clinical documentation or supporting clinical quality/compliance., • Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions., • Understanding of Joint Commission standards preferred., • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Working Conditions • This position is primarily based in a professional office environment., • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend hours based on organizational needs., • The role requires occasional travel (approximately 510%) for site visits, meetings, or professional development., • The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate., • Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated or standing) for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings., • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and printers., • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email., • Ability to move throughout the office and occasionally travel to external locations., • Visual acuity to read and interpret documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens., • May occasionally need to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds (e.g., files, presentation materials). Minimum of (3) three years leadership experience in a clinical role with progressive leadership responsibilities serving clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders required. Experience in multiple treatment settings, e.g., inpatient, partial, outpatient, and/or residential a plus. Demonstrated knowledge, use and implementation of evidence-based practices. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. • SUMMARY: The Manager Residential Services provides support, coaching, mentoring, input, training and direction for the daily provision of clinical services based upon evidence-based practices for clients participating in residential care. The Manager Residential Services is responsible for development, implementation and the standardization of services including curriculum, special programs for clinical services offered in residential services at The Crossroads Center. III. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures the efficacy of services provided through residential care through direct day-to-day supervision of residential clinicians, the behavioral health technician supervisor/behavioral health technicians, peer support specialist(s) and the care coordinator. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: • Responsible for performance reviews, corrective action, performance improvement plans, scheduling, conflict resolution and active supervision for residential team members., • Coaches and mentors residential team members to maintain, enhance and provide effective services., • Fosters an environment of open communication and continuous learning., • Utilizes evidenced-based and culturally specific models of care to promote recovery., • Ensures continuous curriculum development and usage by clinicians., • Participates in performance improvement activities through the measurement, tracking and submission of data on identified opportunities for improvement., • Assist in the development and implementation of techniques, procedures, and systems designed to continuously improve the quality of services, attainment of productivity by clinicians and expansion of services as identified or needed for new and existing programs., • Ensures team member/client adherence to the daily schedule of residential services., • Facilitates treatment team for clients and clinicians participating in residential care., • Ensures communication between team members throughout the organization., • Maintains a presence and open communication with mental health court team members and clients., • Monitors and ensures timely completion of documentation including progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries while providing feedback to the clinicians., • Provides coverage during absences to ensure consistent services provision to the clients., • Works in collaboration with the Management Team to introduce new ideas and enhance services., • Other duties as assigned.
