Job Description BronxWorks helps individuals and families improve their economic and social well-being. Together, we guide families on their journey back to independence and into permanent housing. RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee all program components, including staff orientation,trainingand development: client assessment, service plandevelopmentand progress: relationships with other community-based organizations; and components specific to the site and population, • Ensure all departments meet contractual goals and reporting requirements, • Monitor program progress andsubmitall required reports to funding sources, including government and private sources, • Submitinternalprogress report to Residence Director and/or Executive Directoron a monthly basis. Or morefrequentlyasrequired, • Prepare proposals for development,expansionand continuation of programs in coordination with Residence Director, • Hold monthly individual supervision meetings with staff and group meetings as necessary, • Monitor staff performance, including performing case reviews and structured observations, • Participatein, and encourage staff to become involved in agency events, • Oversee all parts of social services (case management, client navigator, social workers, and recreation) ensuring uniform quality of services and compliance with regulatory agencies., • Intervene in major crisis with clients, staff and agencies, ensuring well-being and compliance with laws and government regulations., • Implement goals forrelocatingthe maximum number of homeless migrant families toappropriate permanenthousing., • Prepare social services statistics and reports for performance analysis and program planning., • Formulate and implement social services policies and procedures., • LMSW (Master of Social Work + Licensure), • Minimum of two years supervisory experience, • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, • Strong writing and oral communication skills, • Strong presentation skills and ability torepresentthe agency at functions and meetings, • Ability to collect and analyze client demographics and outcome, • Excellent organizational, teambuilding and leadership skills, • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods, • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time, • Ability to climb five flights of stairs, if required to conduct home visits and/or fieldwork, • Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents, • Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation, • Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work BronxWorks seeks to build an inclusive organization grounded in respect for differences.
