We provide HVAC-R, Electrical, Plumbing, and Building Automation services for commercial and industrial clients. Our Commercial Refrigeration Division works on large grocery and retail projects across Florida. We are adding experienced leadership to support growth in the South Florida market and are seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Installation Foreman to lead field crews and manage installation work. Location: Orlando, FL Region: Central Florida Schedule: Night Shift Monday–Thursday (4 x 10-hour shifts). Pay Range: $35 - $40 per hour, based on experience Role Overview The Commercial Refrigeration Installation Foreman is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing crews on large-scale supermarket and commercial refrigeration installations. This role requires strong field leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate labor, schedules, and quality standards. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification. Primary Responsibilities • Lead and supervise commercial refrigeration installation crews on active job sites, • Oversee installation of:, • Supermarket rack systems, • Walk-in coolers and freezers, • Display cases and refrigeration components, • Ensure installations meet:, • Project plans and specifications, • Manufacturer standards, • Safety and code requirements, • Coordinate manpower, materials, and workflow with Project Managers, • Train, mentor, and hold crews accountable to Quality, Compliance, and Productivity Standards., • Complete daily job reports and maintain accurate project documentation, • Troubleshoot installation issues and drive solutions in real timeRequirements:, • 5+ years of commercial refrigeration installation experience, • Prior Foreman or Lead experience required, • Strong knowledge of supermarket rack and case installations:, • Hillphoenix, • Hussmann, • Kysor Warren, • RAE Corp (or similar systems), • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, • EPA Universal Certification (required), • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, • Willingness to work night shift, travel as needed, and maintain schedule flexibility What We Offer • Competitive pay based on experience, • Company vehicle, fuel card, and per diem for travel, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid time off and paid holidays, • Ongoing technical training and advancement opportunities, • Supportive, team-driven culture focused on accountability and growth Benefits At Kalos, we invest in our people—on and off the job.
