A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. People First in Lexington Local Team Collaboration: • Become a part of a cohesive and established team of 20 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by two clinical performance nurses at St. Joseph Hospital., • Work alongside a culturally diverse team with a balanced mix of experienced providers and new graduates., • Collaborate closely with hospital administration, participating in committees and projects to improve hospital operations and patient care., • Manage complex cases in a semi-open ICU with 24-hour intensivist coverage., • Perform procedures as per your privileges (procedures are not required)., • Participate in team huddles at least three times a week and a monthly all-staff meeting to stay connected with practice updates, hospital-related topics, and developments within Sound Physicians., • Attend monthly educational CME meetings and hospital-wide hospital medicine committee meetings., • At Sound Physicians, our guiding principle is simple: we always put patients first.
