Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVOR, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 10/06/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Job Description: Registered Nurse - CVOR Location: Greensboro, NC 27401 Schedule: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Start Date: 10/07/2025 Duration: 13 weeks Position Summary: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialty in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for a critical role at Cone Health’s Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. This role demands open-heart surgical expertise and the ability to scrub on complex cardiac cases. The candidate will support adult patients undergoing advanced cardiac surgeries and assist with specialized cardiovascular procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Circulate and scrub for open-heart surgeries and complex cardiovascular procedures, including but not limited to:, • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), • Mitral and Aortic valve replacements/repairs, • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), • ECMO, LVAD, Impella management, • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump support, • Robotic chest surgeries (lobectomy, segmentectomy), • Assist with chest tube insertion/removal and surgical wound care including wound vacs., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care., • Adhere to Cone Health’s zero-tolerance policy on tardiness and unexcused absences., • Licensure: Current RN license (license in hand at submission)., • Experience: Minimum 2 years’ CVOR experience with open-heart surgery proficiency required., • Skills:, • Scrub experience in open-heart cases mandatory., • Experience with ECMO, LVAD, Impella, Balloon Pumps, and TAVR procedures., • Proficient with Epic charting system., • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
