Job Description Summary: The Clinical Placement and Administrative Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the clinical learning experiences of undergraduate nursing students at the Presbyterian School of Nursing (PSON). Serving as the primary liaison between the university and affiliated clinical agencies, this position ensures compliance with clinical affiliation agreements and facilitates seamless communication, placement logistics, and ongoing collaboration. We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word), outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex schedules. The ideal candidate is committed to supporting the development of the next generation of compassionate healthcare professionals. The Clinical Placement and Administrative Coordinator reports to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program Chair. This position is not exempt from provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible to earn overtime pay or compensatory time off for additional hours worked. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Collaborate with BSN Program Chair and faculty to coordinate and schedule clinical learning experiences in alignment with program standards, • Serve as the administrative liaison between PSON and undergraduate clinical facilities, focusing on communication and documentation, • Build and maintain professional relationships with facility coordinators to support placement processes, • Communicate facility policies and procedures to students and faculty; maintain updated reference documents, • In conjunction with the PSON Director and the BSN Chair, develop and manage standardized tracking processes to meet facility requirements, • Partner with the Blair College of Health Compliance & Communication Coordinator to meet regulatory requirements, • Ensure timely completion of annual compliance packages for students and faculty to meet established deadlines; maintain accurate records of student and faculty clinical placements, compliance status, and related correspondence, • Process and maintain records of documentation access requests for clinical facilities; maintain a shared repository of clinical placement communications, policies, and forms, • Track, record, and archive updates from clinical agency meetings; disseminating changes to relevant faculty and staff, • Coordinate undergraduate clinical site placements; maintain a centralized database of assignments for students and faculty, • Assist in adjunct clinical faculty orientation through scheduling, document preparation, and tracking of required paperwork, • Manage logistics for identification badges for students and faculty; maintain updated badge records, • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), • Proven ability to coordinate and schedule clinical learning opportunities, • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, • Strong follow-up and time management abilities, • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, • Ability to analyze problems and develop practical solutions Does this sound like a good fit for you?
