Job Description Type: Contract w/ strong potential for Perm Position: Recruiter Location: Richmond, VA Hours: Full time, 40 hours per work Remote/Hybrid: No/No Pay: $30-45 p/hr This is 100% in office with potential 1-2 days hybrid after training period SUMMARY: Our client is seeking a highly organized, confident, and detail-driven Full Cycle Recruiter (Contract / Temp-to-Perm) to support their growing hiring needs across technical, field, and corporate roles. This role is based out of our Richmond, VA office and works closely with the Recruiting Director and hiring leaders across the business. This is a hands-on recruiting role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage a high volume of requisitions, and takes pride in delivering a strong candidate and hiring manager experience. There is a strong potential for this role to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs. What You'll Do Full Cycle Recruiting --Own 15-20 active requisitions at a time across multiple departments and locations --Partner directly with hiring managers to intake roles, clarify requirements, align on profiles, and manage expectations throughout the hiring process --Write, review, and revise job descriptions, leveraging AI tools to improve clarity, consistency, and alignment with role requirements while ensuring accuracy and compliance --Post and manage jobs across platforms including Greenhouse (preferred), ADP, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards --Screen, interview, and assess candidates using structured interview techniques --Coordinate and manage interview scheduling, feedback collection, and next steps across teams and time zones --Manage agency relationships and candidate submittals, including screening, communication, and tracking --Follow offers through internal approval, extend offers to candidates, and manage negotiations as needed --Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from first touch through offer acceptance Onboarding & Hiring Operations --Initiate and track background checks, reference checks, and required pre-hire documentation --Launch and manage the onboarding process from signed offer through Day 1 --Partner with HR, IT, hiring managers, and other teams to ensure smooth onboarding logistics including systems access, equipment, and first-day readiness --Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Greenhouse and related systems Process, Reporting & Insights --Maintain and update recruiting dashboards, reports, and pipeline metrics with exceptional attention to detail --Analyze recruiting trends and data such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion, and agency performance --Make recommendations to improve hiring efficiency, candidate quality, and overall recruiting outcomes based on insights and patterns --Identify process gaps, surface issues early, and proactively recommend workflow or tooling improvements --Ensure compliance, consistency, and documentation across all recruiting activities --Balance competing priorities, shifting deadlines, and urgent hiring needs without dropping the ball Your Experience & Capabilities --5+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting or talent acquisition (agency and/or in-house) --Proven ability to manage 15-20 concurrent requisitions in a fast-paced environment --Bachelor's degree required in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field --Greenhouse ATS experience strongly preferred --Experience managing agency relationships and candidate submittals --Demonstrated ability to write and refine job descriptions, including using AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality --Strong understanding of offer approvals, extensions, and pre-employment screening processes --Exceptional communication skills - clear, confident, professional, and responsive --High confidence and credibility when partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders --Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly - this is essential --Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive; able to manage many moving parts at once --Strong ability to collaborate across different teams and personalities --Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required); comfort using AI tools to improve efficiency is a plus Company Description
