Job Description Join the premier cancer treatment center on the East Coast - Virginia Cancer Institute currently operates 6 facilities in the greater Richmond area and is actively seeking a Radiologist to work within our independent, physician led, private practice setting. Virginia Cancer Institute is well established and entrenched throughout the community practicing in a progressive and collaborative clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert interpretation of PET and CT diagnostic imaging studies., • Communicate critical and urgent findings directly to physicians and clinical teams., • Consult with referring physicians to clarify imaging orders and provide guidance on appropriate imaging protocols., • Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities to maintain high standards of care., • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Radiology., • Oversight of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Program., • Knowledge and previous experience with radioactive isotopes, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and understanding of nuclear medicine imaging techniques. Qualifications: • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) with specialization in Radiology., • Board certified in Radiology., • Proven experience in cancer detection and diagnosis., • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
