The Foodlink Way Act With Compassion Take Responsibility Be a Team Player Listen, Learn, Adapt Job Title: Curbside Market Operations Coordinator Department: Community Health Programs Reports to: Curbside Market Manager Status: Hourly, Nonexempt, Fulltime Job Level: (6) Coordinator Updated: September 2025 SUMMARY The Curbside Market Operations Coordinator ensures that each Curbside Market vehicle is stocked with quality products that meet the needs of our consumers. The CMOC will ensure each vehicle is loaded with quality product, conduct spot inspections, and maintain clean, safe warehouse space. S/he will support all CHP special events and ensure that we can make each site on-time, appropriately stocked, with quality products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support Curbside Operations, including loading vehicles, quality control, and product procurement. (50%) • Use Curbside Market data to determine all product needs for Curbside Market routes, special events, and special projects., • Work with Curbside Market Manager to develop, implement and refine a sustainable inventory system for Curbside Market. Responsible for maintaining a FIFO inventory model and Operator’s adherence to it., • Oversee Curbside Market quality control and provide ongoing recommendations for process improvement. Perform daily inspections of Curbside vehicles to ensure the highest product quality standards., • Work with Curbside Market Manager, Foodlink Community Farm and/or Foodlink Procurement Manager to increase the amount of local produce sold at Curbside Market, • Support Curbside Market Operators during the daily Curbside Market loading process. Provide feedback and ongoing recommendations for improvement., • Work with Curbside Market Manager to develop and implement sustainable procurement processes to ensure compliance of NYS WIC product requirements., • Choose monthly product, pricing, and create order sheets for Curbside Market., • Print other materials needed by operators as needed. Schedules, FMNP lists, revenue logs, daily driver’s log, etc., • Maintain a clean and sanitary warehouse environment, following daily and weekly cleaning schedules., • Serve as a back up Curbside Market Operator as the need arises. Load and drive trucks to scheduled locations. Perform daily safety checks of vehicles and report any issues to the Curbside Market Supervisor. Utilize customer service skills and POS system knowledge, ensuring a positive and safe customer experience. Coordinate procurement needs for Curbside Market special projects (25%) • Serve as the team lead for Curbside Market’s order fulfillment for online ordering, Medicaid 1115 Waiver, and other potential programs. Oversee staff and/or volunteers, if needed., • Coordinate produce needs for Curbside Market special events, bundles and Nutrition Education take home bags., • Work with Community Health Management to procure products for home delivery pilots, when applicable., • Serve as the team lead for ordering produce to meet needs across Community Health programs., • Support Health Education team with produce and procurement needs., • Coordinate the flow of produce from the Foodlink Community Farm to Curbside Market and Health Education programs., • Be an active member of Foodlink’s Community Health Programs team and participate in all team meetings, training, and activities with the goal of advancing access to nutrition information, anti-racism work, and community engagement., • Support other organizational priorities, as determined by CHP Management, given the flexibility required of all staff in a fast-paced, growing organization Requirements: QUALIFICATION To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and develops alternate solutions., • Teamwork and Communication: Balances team and individual responsibilities. Knowledge of produce storage and quality best practices. Project management experience preferred., • Ability to effectively manage others, including teammates, individual and/or groups of volunteers., • Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and with cultural competence through verbal, written and electronic methods, • Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines, requirements, and priorities to complete work in a timely manner and within established deadlines, • Ability to work flexible hours which will include evenings and/or weekends, • Ability to transport/move supplies and equipment, climb stairs with or without reasonable accommodation, • Experience with windows-based software including use of the internet and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams; Google Suite, and Canva We are actively seeing a diverse pool of candidates for this position and strongly encourage applications from candidates of color. SALARY AND BENEFITS This is a full-time position paid on an hourly basis, ranging from $20-$24 hour (DOE). Foodlink covers 100% of individual health and dental insurance with the ability to acquire family coverage with pretax dollars. In addition to generous paid time off (PTO), we observe 14 paid holidays throughout the year. Opportunity to contribute to a 401k retirement savings plan upon hire.
