This individual will be a key contributor to all aspects of Inventory Management and be responsible for maintaining production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory and delivering production materials and supplies. The Material Handler will have the opportunity to work with many cross functional departments within the Xpressdocs organization. In this position, you will: • Accept deliveries of incoming materials and supplies and verify the accuracy of shipment contents against packing slips and purchase orders., • Unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks., • Processing/receiving raw materials, outsourced materials, and customer furnished inventory., • Organize and store materials in designated locations while maintaining accurate records of inventory levels. You will also conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies., • Pick and prepare materials for production or shipping and distribute materials to various departments as needed, while ensuring those materials are handled safely and according to company guidelines., • Complete and maintain accurate logs, records, and reports., • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about material status and any issues., • Assist in other warehouse activities as needed and collaborate with team members to achieve department and company goals., • Use warehousing system tools to research/receive/update inventory., • Help maintain, organize, and clean the warehouse and receiving areas, • Previous experience in a similar role, • Certifications in forklift operation or other material handling equipment (preferred)., • The ability to operate various types of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks)., • Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement., • Attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management., • Good communication skills for coordinating with other team members and departments., • Basic computer skills for using inventory management software and systems., • The ability to lift 35lbs on a regular basis and occasionally lift and/or move 50lbs., • The ability to stand and walk up to 80% of the time and move throughout all departments within the company., • The ability to be around loud machinery for up to 12 hours/day and be confined in a small area.
