Job Description Floating Teller Location: Main Branch Job Type: Full-Time (On-Site) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00PM Compensation: $19.00/hourly Join our dynamic Operation Team in Nashville, TN We are seeking a reliable and service‑focused Floating Teller to support all Middle Tennessee branches, with occasional assignments in Cookeville and Johnson City. This role is responsible for processing a variety of financial transactions while delivering exceptional member service and representing the Credit Union with professionalism at every branch location. What You'll Do: With a dedication to a member centric approach • Process High-Volume Transactions: Deliver quick, accurate service (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments)., • Balanced Cash Handler: Achieve 100% accuracy in daily cash drawer balancing and reporting., • Member Relationship Builder: Educate members on products/services to build long-term relationships and increase product adoption., • Security Vigilance: Adhere to all safety, security, and BSA compliance guidelines to protect member data., • Troubleshooter: Professionally handle account inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently. What We're Looking For • In-depth knowledge of credit union products, services, and the "credit union difference"., • Demonstrated accuracy in high-volume transaction processing, balancing, and vault management., • Ability to proactively greet and assist members with a professional, friendly demeanor via in-person or phone channels., • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to educate members on financial options., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks, assignments, or technology., • Proven record of consistent, punctual attendance., • Ability to learn and strictly adhere to federal regulations and internal compliance policies., • Comfortable navigating multiple software applications and using standard office equipment., • Ability to work in a clean, non-smoking environment., • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Minimum of one year cash handling and/or customer service experience required., • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds., • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods., • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
