Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgical or invasive procedures., • Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, level of consciousness, airway, and pain management needs., • Manage intubated patients and provide airway support as required., • Administer IV fluids, medications, and medicated drips per physician orders., • Accurately document patient assessments and interventions using EPIC EMR., • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative team members to ensure continuity of care., • Educate patients and families on post-surgical expectations, pain control, and discharge instructions., • Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies.
