Job Description Title: Staffing & Training Manager Location: Little Rock, AR Quick Overview • Lead staffing strategy and training operations for the full team (FOH & BOH) – from hire to ongoing development., • Ensure compliance with all new‐hire documentation, including I‐9s; maintain employee records and training logs., • Act as both people‐leader and operator: hands‐on with service (hosts, servers, bartenders), line checks, safe/cash procedures, guest recovery., • Build and maintain recruiting pipeline: track applications, schedule interviews, partner with Ops leadership on hiring decisions., • Enforce and model brand standards: grooming/uniforms, SOPs, guest experience, team culture., • Work a dynamic schedule (45–60 hours/week) including open, mid, closing shifts, nights, weekends, holidays., • Physical demands: prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to ~35 lbs regularly and occasionally ~50 lbs; indoor environment with typical restaurant noise and exposure to hot/cold areas. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate new‐hire orientation and documentation: maintain active and terminated employee files, ensure training certs are completed prior to shift graduation., • Develop and monitor training curriculum and schedule for all departments; track progress and ensure readiness for shift work., • Perform regular audits of operational/training standards—line checks, table touches, cash handling, host/bar/FOH check‐outs., • Lead resolution of guest service issues and employee relations concerns; document disciplinary actions when necessary., • Work closely with management (Co‐managers, General Manager) to forecast staffing needs, align labor to business volume, support recruiting strategy., • Maintain applicant tracking and scheduling of first‐round interviews; collaborate with recruiters or hiring teams., • Model and enforce behavior expectations: uniform/presentation, grooming, punctuality, SOP compliance, culture values., • Open and close the restaurant as needed; cover shifts when required; support operations in busy times. Minimum Qualifications • 1+ year restaurant experience required; prior supervisory, staffing or training experience strongly preferred., • Demonstrated professional communication skills (verbal & written)., • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast‐paced hospitality setting., • Self‐motivated, organized, strong problem‐solver, able to work both independently and as part of a team., • Must be available nights, weekends and holidays., • Basic computer literacy (for tracking training, documentation, applicant flow)., • Ability to read, speak and understand basic written directions in English., • Physical stamina: standing for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 35 lbs (occasionally up to ~50 lbs).
