This role is pivotal in managing the successful delivery of complex construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring that the project's objectives are met while managing risks and issues. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our company. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the planning, design, and construction of substation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high quality., • Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables., • Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary., • Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams., • Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring that all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures., • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that all financial targets are met., • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and other stakeholders., • Ensure all project activities comply with company policies and health and safety regulations., • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on substation or electrical projects., • Proven track record in delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to a high quality., • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools., • Excellent risk management skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks and issues., • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams., • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to monitor and control project costs., • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry., • Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage., • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
