Job DescriptionPosition: MICU Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Ocala, FL Position Type: Permanent Shifts Available: * Days (Rotating Weekends) * Nights (Rotating Weekends) Compensation & Benefits: * Salary Range: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience) * Shift Differentials: * Nights: +$4.25/hr * Weekends: +$3.00/hr * Sign-On Bonus: Not Available * Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated MICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This role involves caring for critically ill patients and requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to manage complex medical conditions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: * Deliver direct patient care following established nursing standards and protocols. * Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical conditions. * Administer medications and evaluate patient responses. * Accurately document all aspects of patient care. * Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans. * Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning. * Promote patient safety and advocate for patients and families. * Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives. * Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications: Experience: * Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years). * ICU or high-acuity experience preferred; strong Med/Surg background considered. Licensure & Certifications: * Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if relocating). * BLS (Basic Life Support) – required within 30 days (AHA). * ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required within 90 days.
