The role of Operations Coordinator is an integral part of this foundation. We would love to bring someone in that is passionate about ecommerce and can help us continue our forward momentum. The Operations Coordinator role is full time, with full benefits healthcare and 401k included. The main focus is maintaining the core of the operations flow including order status updates, processing and managing shipments, inventory management, running the sample program, and other key parts of the engine that helps everything run smoothly. Primarily responsible to help support the company and Operations Lead with different facets of the customer experience after a purchase is made, until order is delivered. The Operations Coordinator should be likable, smart, self-sufficient, highly organized and enjoy attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone who is kind, likes people and systems thinking, and wants to join a growing furniture brand as a member of the Medley team. We handcraft each piece of furniture one at a time, using select, eco-friendly materials in North Carolina, Los Angeles and Pennsylvania. Customers customize their piece and choose from a variety of options perfecting comfort and size for their space. Medley sells direct to consumers to keep pricing lower, and manufacturing in the US allowing us to oversee quality and craftsmanship. We offer design help, along with free in-home trials making sure every customer loves their purchase. With over a decade of experience, we’ve built an innovative company that's leading the way with sustainability and non-toxic home decor by using unique natural materials like natural latex and wool. Our entire company provides support for customers, and we work as a team to get things done and make a difference. Instead of an individualistic mentality, we believe in working together to achieve success on a micro and macro level. What you'll do: • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, • Work with Medley operations team to book the shipment of each order once ready, and then fulfill the order along with a tracking to close it out in Shopify, • Periodically adjusting order estimates in Katana and Shopify, • Work with customers that are looking for details about their order status, shipment or delivery timing, • Analytics of shipping details to improve processes, timing, packaging and costs, • Notifying customers weekly when any orders have not been shipped out on their estimated shipping week, • Manage the sampling program, with inventory tracking and materials ordering as needed to ensure samples are in stock to ship from our fulfillment partner, • Weekly ordering of materials needed for new orders, and management of vendor communications and platform updates for each PO submitted, • Work with customer service team to obtain damage info and submit formal claims, • Work with the owners to ensure the customer experience aligns with the overall mission of the company, • Minimum 2 years operations or customer service experience, • Comfortable working within the world of ecommerce, • A strong passion for providing a positive experiences for others, • Organized, with high attention to detail, • Planning and time management skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize projects, • Focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processes, • Ability to work independently and driven by entrepreneurial spirit, • Effective communication with customers and Medley team members, • Comfortable with technology including programs such as Shopify, Katana, Gorgias, Gmail, and Google Docs, • Bachelor's Degree preferred, • Please include cover letter along with application TIME & BENEFITS: • Access to buy all products we sell, at wholesale pricing, • Full-time, ability to work 40 hours per week, • Generous vacation policy and bonuses, • Health Care and 401kCompany DescriptionMedley is a family-run premium, eco-friendly furniture brand with a mission to make living more comfortable through products that are better for our planet and our homes.
