Job Description About An established two-attorney personal injury trial firm is seeking a professional, motivated legal receptionist to join their growing support team. They are a dedicated plaintiff-focused personal injury practice with a strong track record of successful trial outcomes. Overview As the first point of contact for our clients, the Legal Receptionist will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service during what is often a challenging time in their lives. The ideal candidate will have a genuine commitment to treat each current and new client with the care and attention you would show a close friend or family member. Our team works hard because we understand the trust our clients place in us, but we are equally committed to ensuring our staff maintain a fulfilling life outside the office. Duties/Responsibilities · Manage multi-line phone system with professionalism and empathy · Greet clients and visitors with a welcoming, professional demeanor · Handle incoming correspondence and route documents appropriately · Safeguard client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with complete discretion · Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed · Maintain clean, organized reception area and conference rooms · Provide administrative support to office management, paralegals, and attorneys to support firm operations. Qualifications · Demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow within the legal field · Outstanding communication skills with professional phone etiquette · Authentic empathy and desire to support clients during difficult periods in their lives · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat · Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor · High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus · Minimum one year of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience; legal industry background preferred, but not required · Bilingual Spanish, is preferred Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week
