Job Description Job Title: Site Superintendent / Site Manager (Civil) Job Description We are seeking a Site Superintendent / Site Manager to support a significant commercial civil site improvement project as part of a joint venture. The project is approximately halfway complete and is moving into above-ground and finish work. This long-term position, lasting through at least October 2027, requires someone who can immediately contribute to an active project with strong communication, coordination, and technology skills. Responsibilities • Oversee daily civil construction activities for assigned scopes, including landscaping, earthwork, irrigation, and finished grading., • Coordinate multiple subcontractors and interface with other contractors on adjacent campus projects., • Drive schedule performance by providing accurate field updates into 6-week look-ahead schedules., • Provide schedule and progress updates to the internal scheduling team., • Partner with the Safety Director to enforce OSHA and site safety standards., • Manage RFIs, field documentation, and daily coordination through Procore., • Maintain professional communication with subcontractors, internal teams, and joint venture partners., • Monitor work quality and ensure completion per plans and specifications., • Collaborate closely with the Senior Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Assistant Project Manager., • 5+ years of experience as a Civil Superintendent or Site Manager., • Strong experience with earthwork, dirt work, landscaping, green space, irrigation, and finished grading., • Experience on large commercial civil projects., • Ability to step into an active project and drive work immediately., • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors simultaneously., • Procore experience., • Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills., • Roadway or DOT experience, only if combined with earthwork/landscaping., • OSHA 30 certification (can be obtained after start)., • CPR / First Aid certification (can be obtained after start). This position requires working on-site five days a week, with shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours per day. The work schedule includes working every other weekend. The role involves working on a large and prestigious project with all necessary technology provided. Any additional benefits, such as a vehicle allowance, are assumed to be included in the salary. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $117000.00/hr.
