The Security Service Coordinator manages daily schedules, reporting, and communication systems; ensures departmental compliance with safety standards; and assists with periodic patrols and quality control checks to verify operational readiness. This position exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters of departmental significance and supports the Security Services Director in strategic planning, coordination, and continuous improvement efforts. What You'll Do • Coordinate daily administrative functions of the Security Services Department, ensuring timely communication between field officers, leadership, and other departments., • Manage departmental scheduling to ensure adequate coverage across all ministry locations and events, proactively addressing staffing or resource gaps., • Maintain communication systems, including department phones, radios, and email correspondence, prioritizing and escalating issues as appropriate., • Process and manage key and badge access requests, maintaining secure and accurate records., • Serve as liaison between Security Services and departments such as Maintenance, IT, and Transportation for service requests, facility needs, and equipment support., • Track maintenance work orders and IT service tickets related to security systems, ensuring prompt resolution and documentation., • Compile, analyze, and report officer patrol logs, QR scan data, and daily activity reports to assess performance and coverage accuracy., • Prepare weekly and monthly summaries of officer activity, system performance, and incident trends for the Security Services Director., • Maintain inventory of radios, uniforms, and departmental equipment, coordinating replacements or repairs as needed., • Maintain records of system inspections, security testing, and emergency communication checks to support compliance and readiness., • Coordinate and distribute weekly event security schedules, ensuring assignments are clearly communicated and properly staffed., • Support preparation for major ministry events (e.g., Feast, Homecoming, conferences) by assisting with coverage planning, logistics, and coordination., • Confirm post coverage for special events and verify that necessary equipment and communication tools are in place., • Maintain and update departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), administrative forms, and emergency protocols as directed., • Review and verify officer reports for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to departmental policy., • Track completion of required certifications, trainings, and licenses for team members., • Support the Director in preparing documentation and analysis for audits, risk assessments, and leadership reviews., • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in prioritizing departmental needs, recommending solutions, and allocating administrative resources., • Serve as a central information point for the Security Services team, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions., • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training coordination for new security personnel., • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative or operations management experience required., • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, facilities, or emergency operations preferred., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with access control, video surveillance, or incident management systems preferred., • Current security license or certification (or willingness to obtain)., • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain)., • 100% CCS tuition discount for employees’ children, • 100% employee daycare and extended care tuition discount, • Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage, • 403(b) retirement plan with matching contributions, • Supplemental coverage options, • Security Officers provide coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays., • Standard shifts are 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., • Officers are assigned to a specific shift based on organizational needs and are expected to work their assigned schedule reliably.
