Backed by a proud history of sustainable resource management and a visionary executive team, they are scaling their commercial division and looking for a results-driven Head of Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth to spearhead sales performance and market expansion. This is a senior leadership opportunity designed for a commercially astute professional who excels at bridging deep industry expertise with strategic business growth. The successful candidate will take ownership of the go-to-market approach, foster long-term client partnerships, and accelerate revenue generation across the organisation's full suite of mining products and services. Core Duties • Pinpoint, nurture, and secure new business prospects with mining operators, contractors, equipment suppliers, and commodity purchasers across Colorado and neighbouring regions., • Formulate and execute an integrated marketing and sales plan that aligns with the organisation's operational strengths, expansion goals, and prevailing market dynamics within the mining industry., • Forge and sustain strategic alliances with key stakeholders, including existing clients, prospective partners, regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and government entities., • Track the competitive environment and sector trends to guide strategic adjustments, product innovation, and pricing models., • Lead, coach, and scale a high-calibre marketing and sales team by establishing transparent objectives, performance indicators, and accountability structures., • Coordinate closely with operations, engineering, and finance departments to ensure that bids, pricing structures, and service packages are competitive, precise, and executable., • Champion brand strategy, oversee digital and traditional marketing initiatives, coordinate trade show presence, and manage industry sponsorships to strengthen market awareness., • Ensure that all marketing and sales efforts adhere to relevant local, state, and federal requirements, including those related to environmental and safety communications., • Act as the organisation's ambassador at sector conferences, events, and trade bodies pertinent to the Colorado and wider Rocky Mountain mining landscape., • Oversee the complete sales pipeline — from lead generation and qualification through to proposal creation, negotiation, and contract finalisation. Essential Qualifications • A minimum of 8 years of advancing experience in sales, marketing, or business development, including no fewer than 4 years in a senior position within the mining, natural resources, or heavy industrial domain., • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mining Engineering, Geology, or a closely related discipline., • Verified history of consistently achieving or surpassing revenue objectives in a B2B setting., • Robust analytical, strategic planning, and financial reasoning capabilities., • Thorough knowledge of mining operations, commodity markets, and the regulatory framework across Colorado and the western United States., • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the confidence to present to boards, clients, and industry forums., • Demonstrated capacity to cultivate and maintain relationships at the executive level., • Working knowledge of CRM systems and marketing analytics platforms., • Willingness to travel both regionally and nationally as needed (up to 30%). Desired Qualifications • Familiarity with commodities including gold, silver, molybdenum, coal, aggregates, or rare earth elements as they relate to Colorado-based operations., • Postgraduate qualification (MBA or relevant advanced technical degree)., • An established professional network within the Colorado or Rocky Mountain mining community., • Experience operating within or alongside publicly traded mining companies., • Understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting and sustainability-focused marketing narratives in the mining sector.
