Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Inspector Job Description Are you experienced in quality inspection within the aerospace, defense, maritime, or automation industries? You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our devices meet the highest standards of performance and quality before they reach our clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality control processes, and the ability to work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams. Responsibilities • Conduct quality inspections using IPC-620 standards in aerospace, defense, maritime, or automation industries., • Interpret and utilize schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications for inspection processes., • Utilize inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure product quality., • Collaborate effectively with manufacturing and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues., • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.Essential Skills, • 2+ years of recent experience in IPC-620 quality inspection within aerospace, defense, maritime, or automation industries., • Proficiency in testing with multimeters., • Experience with schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications., • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills., • Adaptability to frequently changing and ambiguous directions.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Military mechanical experience, especially from the US Navy., • Experience with defense, aviation, aerospace, or maritime products., • Knowledge of autonomous systems, robotics, or sensor technologies., • IPC-620 certification., • Experience in start-up environments., • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00/hr.
