Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Inspector Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for a 1st or 3rd shift position, with working hours from 6am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, or night shift from 8pm to 6am. The role is crucial in ensuring that customer quality requirements are met with precision and high standards. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting medical parts, ensuring they meet strict quality standards before leaving the facility. This role involves working on the production floor, conducting double checks on parts, and performing final inspections using various tools and equipment. Responsibilities • Understand and uphold customer quality-related requirements., • Inspect medical parts with precision and ensure high standards., • Conduct double checks on parts before they leave the facility., • Perform final inspections to verify quality and appearance., • Use calipers, micrometers, vision systems, optical comparators, and CMM for inspections., • Maintain tight tolerances through accurate measurement., • Read and interpret blueprints accurately., • Prepare, review, and approve technical documentation.Essential Skills, • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and vision systems., • Ability to read blueprints and understand decimal point placement., • Excellent writing skills for technical documentation., • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception., • Experience with microscopes, magnifiers, and optical comparators.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior knowledge or experience in quality control inspection is preferred., • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods., • Capability to lift 20 lbs. or greater as needed.Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes designated areas for inspections, eliminating the need to search for parts. Work involves handling jobs with varying quantities, from 500 to 2000 pieces, and requires commitment throughout the shift. Safety glasses are provided, and while safety shoes are not required, leather uppers with non-slip soles are recommended. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
