Job Description Housekeeper Cascade Trails Assisted Living and Memory Care Shift Information: Full-Time, 7am-3pm POSITION SUMMARY Responsible to provide a clean environment for residents. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Clean, disinfect and straighten resident rooms, work areas and common spaces according to cleaning schedule, which may include but not be limited to:, • Clean carpets, furniture and draperies with vacuum cleaner or shampooer, • Sweep, scrub and policy hard floors using broom, mop or power scrubber, • Scrub and disinfect sinks, tubs, toilets and bathing rooms, • Dust and polish furniture and metalwork, • Wash windows, sills and doors, • Clean and disinfect spills and soiled areas as needed or directed, • Deep clean according to schedule, • Move and straighten furniture, • Maintain cleanliness of unoccupied rooms to make them attractive for resident occupancy, • Empty wastebaskets and properly dispose of trash, • Collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute laundry as directed, • Ensure equipment is stored properly To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
